For more than 40 years TS Høeg (aka Dane TS Hawk) has been a major figure on the danish art scene as a musician, bandleader, composer, writer and self-proclaimed solo-outertainer.
He has performed all over in Denmark, in big parts of Europe, The Middle East, Lagos, Tokyo, Ukraine, Iraq & Kurdistan, Ethiopia, Colombia & Portugal.
Høeg has released a wealth of albums and books of prose. He has also composed/written bigger projects in the field of opera, (radio)-theatre plays, large-scale compositions and other artistic events.
Formed the groundbreaking trio Cockpit Music in 1978 with drummer P.O. Jørgens & guitarist Søren Tarding, and the group is still around. Formed also bands like Tapehead, Somesax, the tentet Dane TS Hawk & the Locomotion Starsemble & the still existing mini-bigband Dane TS Hawk & his Great Mongo Dilmuns, consisting of some of the most daring younger lions of the danish neo-jazz scene, the neo-jazz trio Dane TS Hawk 3 & spoken word/music-groups among other constellations.
Is still collaborating with the who's who of the danish experimental scene.
